Title: Samuel Rising First aired: 12/18/2001    Production Code: 3ADA09 An autistic child, Samuel forms an supernatural bond with Max. Isabel tries to make her and Jesse's christmas perfect by becoming the Christmas Nazi once again. Liz and Maria agree to be her elves while Michael becomes Santa in an attempt to get closer to Maria. In the end MIchael and Maria finally agree to just be friends. Isabel realizes that disregarding Jesse's christmas traditions was pushing him away as well as hurting his feelings and decides to have a natural unorganized christmas with her husbanfd. Max realizes that his connection with Samuel isnothing more that a weird coincidence. Liz finally gets to spend time with Max ice skating. They find that Michael was being investigated so they try to steal all the evidence. Jim is captured and when they try to get Jim back, Max is captured. Jim is shot, so Max heals him only to find that it was him they were after all along. Max is forced to heal an old man which in turn kills him. Turning him to dust. Max's soul is absorbed into Clayton Wheeler's body, rejuvenating him. Liz has a feeling that something has happened to Max and her fears are supplemented when Maria gets in contact with Michael. Max has to fight Clayton to keep him from killing Liz, which is the only way Clayton can get rid of Max's soul. Isabel is shot trying to stop Clayton and Jesse finds out he truth, the hard way. While all this is going on, Jesse is seeing a psychiatrist to deal with Isabel's secret. Michael threatens his psychiatrist, causing him to contact the FBI. The FBI kidnap Jesse and enlist his help to capture the pod squad. Michael goes into a rage and Max fights him to get back his powers. Title: Crash First aired: 04/30/2002    Production Code: 3ADA16 The show starts off with Max, Liz, and Kyle sitting at a both at the Crashdown, Max and Liz playing footsie (Mostly Liz) when Michael comes in. Maria is still miffed about him not apologizing for suggesting that she should be killed confronts him. They argue and Michael storms off in anger and takes a ride into the desert. He sees what appears to be a jet crash into a space ship and investigates. He manages to find the pilots' helmet and get away safely. The government covers up the whole incident as usual but Michael has to investigate. The pilots' daughter, Connie makes a statement and Michael gives her the helmet afterwards, trying to help. When one of the gov't officials tries to kill her Michael tells Max what happened. They go breakout Connie's father and find out that there is a spaceship on earth again. Philip and Diane work together to find out Isabel's secret. While staying at her parents' house at her mother's insistence, Isabel angry and frustrated uses her powers in her room not knowing that there was a camera videotaping her every move.
