Title: Busted

Max and Liz rob a convience store where Max thinks he can find some info on finding his son. They are arrested shortly afterwards. It then flashes back to show how much Max and Liz's relationship has progressed since Tess left with Max's son. Phillip gets Liz released but it takes a little longer for Max's release because the FBI wants to know what he knows. In the end Liz is not allowed to speak to or see Max and Max moves out of his parents' house when he wouldn't explain his actions to his father's satisfaction.

Title: Michael, the Guys, and the Great Snapple Caper

Michael, feeling that his stay on earth is now permanent, gets another job and gets serious about finishing high school. He gets a second job at Meta Chem Pharmaceutical working the night shift. When he has a little to much fun at work, Michael gets everyone fired. Taking responsibility for his actions, Michael shows maturity and tries to get everybodys job back. Kyle finds himself taking his father's role as the provider and gets fed up after Jim decides to put together a band. Liz and Max continue to see eachother despite her parents' wishes. Kyle sees that his father's band isn't so bad after all.

Isabel is nervous about her relationship with Jesse. She's afraid that her relationship will end up like all her other ones, in tragedy. So she dream walks Jesse to see what he is thinking. When she sees that he is dreaming about what she thinks is proposing she panics and breaks up with him. With Alex's ghost as her guide, she takes a chance and accepts his proposal. Maria is angry when Michael spends more time with his new friends then with her, until she realizes it brings out a new human side of Michael she has never seen. Liz learns something about her father's past that helps her better understand his feelings about Max.

Max learns there might be another shapeshifter somewhere, so he goes to Los Angeles to find him. He pretends to be an actor and tries out for a part as a alien on Enterprise. He didn't get the part but he finds out who the shapeshifter is. A very succesful movie producer, Kal Langley. Unfortunately he doesn't intend to jepordize his career to help Max. Kyle finds out how strained his father's relationship with his grandpa really is when he and Liz do a project together. Isabel hesitates when Jesse pushes her to tell her parents about their engagement.

Just when Isabel thinks that her marraige to Jesse is getting off on the right foot, Kivar shows up and disproves that notion..
